  • With an experience of 13 years in Neurosurgery, Dr. Amit Dhakoji is a highly skilled neurosurgeon in Baner Pune. An alumnus of the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute, Trivandrum, he completed his medical graduation at the renowned KEM Hospital, Mumbai with three distinctions. After completing post-graduation in General Surgery at GMC, Nagpur as a merit holder, he was selected at a National Entrance Exam for the SCTIMST Neurosurgery program on the First Attempt.

  • Completing his Neurosurgical Training, he pursued a 1 year Post Doctoral Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Surgery from SCTIMST, Kerala in the year 2011. He has worked at Central India Institute of Medical Sciences (CIIMS), Nagpur for 6 long years and established a comprehensive Epilepsy Surgery Unit. CIIMS, Nagpur is a 100 bedded dedicated Neurosciences Setup, one of its kind in Maharashtra and Dr. Dhakoji performed many Complex Neurosurgeries, Spine, Aneurysms, along with Epilepsy Surgeries. He visited Cleveland Clinic, Ohio for advanced Epilepsy Surgery Training under Prof. Gonzalez. His keen interest in Microvascular Anastomosis gave him the opportunity to visit various state-of-the-art, Medical Centers in Japan. He has successfully completed more than 300 Epilepsy Surgeries at various centers. In 2017, he came to Pune and was associated with Sahyadri Hospitals and Jupiter Hospital for 5 years before joining Manipal Hospital, Baner. His special interests are Awake Craniotomy, Complex and Eloquent Brain Tumors, Epilepsy Surgeries, Bypass Surgeries, and Deep Brain Stimulation.

  • With an experience of 13 years in Neurosurgery, Dr. Amit Dhakoji is a highly skilled neurosurgeon in Baner Pune. An alumnus of the prestigious Sree Chitra Tirunal Institute, Trivandrum, he completed his medical graduation at the renowned KEM Hospital, Mumbai with three distinctions. After completing post-graduation in General Surgery at GMC, Nagpur as a merit holder, he was selected at a National Entrance Exam for the SCTIMST Neurosurgery program on the First Attempt.

  • Completing his Neurosurgical Training, he pursued a 1 year Post Doctoral Fellowship in Cerebrovascular Surgery from SCTIMST, Kerala in the year 2011. He has worked at Central India Institute of Medical Sciences (CIIMS), Nagpur for 6 long years and established a comprehensive Epilepsy Surgery Unit. CIIMS, Nagpur is a 100 bedded dedicated Neurosciences Setup, one of its kind in Maharashtra and Dr. Dhakoji performed many Complex Neurosurgeries, Spine, Aneurysms, along with Epilepsy Surgeries. He visited Cleveland Clinic, Ohio for advanced Epilepsy Surgery Training under Prof. Gonzalez. His keen interest in Microvascular Anastomosis gave him the opportunity to visit various state-of-the-art, Medical Centers in Japan. He has successfully completed more than 300 Epilepsy Surgeries at various centers. In 2017, he came to Pune and was associated with Sahyadri Hospitals and Jupiter Hospital for 5 years before joining Manipal Hospital, Baner. His special interests are Awake Craniotomy, Complex and Eloquent Brain Tumors, Epilepsy Surgeries, Bypass Surgeries, and Deep Brain Stimulation.
