Dr. Das completed his Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS) from Utkal University, followed by a Master of Surgery (MS) from the University of Delhi and a Master of Chirurgiae (MCh) from Sanjay Gandhi Postgraduate Institute of Medical Sciences (SGPGIMS), Lucknow. He later broadened his expertise by acquiring a Diplomate of National Board (DNB) in Genito-Urinary Surgery from the National Board of Examinations (NBE). He has also been a visiting fellow at prestigious international institutions, namely the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and the Mayo Clinic in Rochester.
