Brief Role:
1. To dispense prescriptions as presented by customers and ensure the timely distribution of drugs
2. Receive and interpret prescriptions from Customers
3. Check medicine availability in the pharmacy.
4. Select medicines as per the prescriptions, if unavailable arrange for medicine substitutes after getting doctors approval
5. Check medicine quantity, batch, and expiry
6. Maintain inventory records
7. Crosscheck with the prescriptions provided
8. Assist in advising patients regarding drug dosage as required
9. Stocktake and check for expiry every month, maintain adequate stock levels
10. Assist in ordering and receiving medicines from pharmacy stores
11. Ensure proper handling and storage of drugs in the pharmacy
12. Ensure all the activities in the pharmacy bulk store are carried out as per protocol
13. Manage pharmacy counter
