Dr. Pallavi D Rao, a diabetes doctor in Hebbal, completed undergraduate training from JJMMC Davangere in 2000, completed MRCP (UK) in 2009, and did specialist training in Diabetes and Endocrinology at University Hospitals Cambridge and University Hospitals Leicester in the UK. She then completed her postgraduate Diploma in Diabetes and Endocrinology from Queen Mary University, London in 2012.
She also has experience in treating patients with Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, Diabetic emergencies, and complications. With regard to endocrine disorders, she has had experience in treating patients with thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal, PCOS, pancreatic, and pituitary disorders. She is also part of Changing Diabetes in Children team looking after children with Type 1 Diabetes.
She has done specialist courses on the day-to-day management of both Type 1 and Type 2 Diabetes, communication and counseling skills, patient education and empowerment, and use of technology in treating diabetes- Insulin pump course. 1) Up to 4 hrs of appointment time:
Rescheduling of doctor appointment can be done within a week from the date of appointment as per doctor / slot availability.
Cancellation can be done with full refund of the payment.
2) Up to 2 hrs of appointment time:
Rescheduling of doctor appointment can be done within a week from the date of appointment as per doctor / slot availability.
Cancellation of appointment and refund with a cancellation charge of Rs.100/-.
3) Less than 2 hrs of appointment time:
Rescheduling / cancellation of appointment cannot be done, payment non-refundable in this case. However, Units can have the discretion to refund / reschedule in case of exigencies.
