Cervical-Scapular Humeral Pain Care at Manipal Hospitals Jaipur

Mechanical Cervical-Scapular Humeral pain is common among athletes and those who spend much time in front of computers. This condition can cause stiffness in the upper body and shoulder region, leading to further problems with biomechanics and muscle imbalances. Scapular Dyskinesia refers to the abnormal movement of the scapula or shoulder blade. Upper crossed syndrome is a condition that occurs when one side of the body works harder than the other, usually due to tight muscles on one side while weak muscles on the other side are not working as well as they could be. Both of these conditions can cause Mechanical cervical-scapular-humeral pain if left untreated.

The treatment includes

  • Facilitating inhibited muscle groups,

  • Lengthening shortened and tight muscles,

  • Correcting biomechanical problems around the shoulder complex (like poor posture), and

  • Gentle stretching exercises that target all these areas simultaneously without causing further injury or discomfort.
