Mr. Satwinder's recovery from Guillain-Barre | Dr. Naveen | Manipal Hospitals Old Airport Road

Mr. Satwinder Singh Sudan, 51, was diagnosed with Guillain-Barre Syndrome (GBS), a rare neurological disorder, leaving him in critical condition with quadriplegia. After initial treatment in Mumbai, he moved to Manipal Hospitals Old Airport Road, Bengaluru, for intensive rehabilitation. Under the care of Dr. Naveen Mathew Jose, Consultant - Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation, and his team, including Arun Kumar S. and Kalyan Deb, Neuro Physiotherapists, and Swarna Prava Pradhan, Occupational Therapist, Mr. Sudan began his recovery. His program included physical and occupational therapy, neuro-assessment, and advanced tools like Primus, Functional Electrical Stimulation (FES), and Balance Master. With dedicated therapy, he progressed from minimal support to walking independently and performing exercises. Grateful for the team's efforts, Mr. Sudan expressed his appreciation for their role in helping him regain independence and quality of life.
