Robotic Surgery to Treat Thymoma Part - 2 | Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road
Mrs. Sharon Pascaline Adeenaden, a 36-year-old woman from Mauritius, was diagnosed with thymoma - a malignant epithelial tumour. She was referred to Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road through the Ministry of Health, Mauritius where Dr. Suraj Manjunath and Dr. Hemanth GN, Consultants - Surgical Oncology, recommended her to undergo robotic surgery. It was one of the firsts that Manipal Comprehensive Cancer Center performed a complex robotic surgery for such a large tumour surrounding the vessels around the heart.
