He also completed a Master of Healthcare Administration degree from the Institute of Chartered Financial Analysts of India (ICFAI).  

As a renowned author, Dr. C Shivaram has authored and co-authored many textbooks, chapters, research papers, and articles in journals and online media. He authored a textbook called "Transfusion Medicine for Clinicians". He has co-authored chapters for many publications including - Massive Blood Transfusions for Obstetricians and Anemia in Pregnancy - BSOG Publication. He was also nominated as Editor-in-chief of the Global Journal of Transfusion Medicine by AATM in 2015. 

Dr. C Shivaram is a member of many reputed societies and organizations including the - National Haemovigilance Program of India, the Indian Society of Transfusion Medicine, and the Indian Society of  Blood Transfusion and Immuno-haematology.
