  • Dr. E. V. Raman is a fellow and member of reputed societies like the Association of Otolaryngologists of India and the Indian Academy of Otolaryngology and Head and Neck Surgery. He is also a member of the Aerospace Medicine Society of India and the Indian Society of Otology. He is also the Chief Architect of the Center for Otitis Media Research and Education (CORE). Through this role, he is working on spreading awareness about the causes and treatments of middle ear infections. He is registered with the Punjab Medical Council as well. Dr. Raman has been awarded a silver medal from the Chief of Air Staff for his contribution to the medical field. He received a Guest Oration Award at the Pakistan ENT Association annual meeting held in Karachi. He has also received an award for Guest Oration from the Society of Advancement of ENT in Children (also known as SENTAC) in San Francisco, in the United States of America.

He has written on topics such as paediatric tracheostomy, managing a smoke inhalation laryngotracheal injury, mature nasopharyngeal teratoma in neonates, and otitis media with effusion in the paediatric population.
