After earning his MBBS, he did his MD in Radiodiagnosis at Kasturba Medical College (KMC), Manipal. He acquired a DM in Neuroimaging and Interventional radiology from the reputed National Institute of Mental Health and Neuro Sciences (NIMHANS) in Bengaluru to further his love of the field.
