  • Dr. Vidya M N is a highly experienced histopathologist in Bangalore. She is currently practicing as a Lead Consultant - Histopathology at Manipal Hospital Old Airport Road, Bangalore, with over 17 years of expertise in histopathology and cytopathology. Dr. Vidya specialises in oncopathology, immunohistochemistry (IHC), fluorescent in situ hybridisation (FISH), and molecular oncology. Her proficiency extends to liver, gastrointestinal (GIT), transplant pathology, and dermatopathology. She trains postgraduate students and laboratory technicians and has significant managerial experience across various laboratory specialities. Dr. Vidya plays a key role in developing and introducing new diagnostic tests in the lab, ensuring advancements in pathology and patient care.

  • Dr. Vidya completed her MBBS and pursued an MD in Pathology, followed by a FRCPATH (UK), establishing her as a distinguished expert. In 2015, she further enhanced her skills with specialised training in molecular pathology at Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore. Her academic contributions include award-winning research, and her work on body fluid analysis using Sysmex XT earned her the Best Paper Award at KAPCON 2012.
