Dr. Beena Jeysingh is a distinguished Senior Consultant in Obstetrics and Gynaecology at Manipal Hospital, Sarjapur Road, Bengaluru. She has worked as a consultant with several prestigious hospitals, including Motherhood Hospital Sarjapur Road, Cradle Koramangala, and Apollo Hospitals BG Road in Bengaluru.
Her expertise ranges from preconception consultation, treatment of infertility issues, and managing high-risk pregnancies to managing menopause, performing laparoscopic surgery, hysteroscopy, and several other gynaecological surgeries. She has accomplished a great deal in her career of 19 years and has successfully treated many challenging cases, making her one of Bengaluru's top gynaecologists. She has earned a reputation for her precise diagnosis, empathetic demeanour, and adequate medical care. Dr Beena Jeysingh completed her graduation from The Madras Medical College with an MBBS degree. She was awarded MNAMS (Membership of the National Academy of Medical Sciences) when she completed the Diplomate of the National Board (Obstetrics and Gynaecology). She received her Laparoscopic Surgery diploma from Keil, Germany.
She is an esteemed member of prestigious organisations like The Federation of Obstetric and Gynaecological Societies of India (FOGSI) and The Bengaluru Society of Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She also holds a certificate from Mediscans Chennai in obstetric and gynaecological ultrasound. No wonder she has positioned herself as one of the top gynecologists in Sarjapur Road. In addition, Dr. Beena Jeysingh offered significant insight in the Deccan Herald on postpartum depression (PPD). This disorder is prevalent in women and can lead to harming themselves or their babies. Here, she talked about a patient whom she counselled for PPD. Subsequently, she wrote about pregnancy and carpal tunnel syndrome in an article in The Daily Guardian. It is a prevalent condition that affects pregnant women, especially in the second or third trimester, particularly those whose jobs require a lot of finger and wrist movement or prolonged hand use. In the article, she explains the cause and management strategies. In the Mompreneur Circle, she published a blog post titled Uterine Rupture: What are the Symptoms, and How Is It Treated? It is a relatively rare, catastrophic illness with a significant likelihood of mortality.
The page provides information on the causes of uterine rupture, its signs and symptoms, and how it can be managed before it has serious repercussions. She can easily communicate with a wide range of patients, thanks to her fluency in English and Hindi. The contributions made by Dr. Jeysingh to the field of obstetrics and gynaecology are widely recognised. She has helped many families overcome the challenges of infertility by providing proper treatment, encouragement, and support and ensuring that both the mother and the child thrive, which makes her a true inspiration.
