  • Dr. Sreedhara B C is a distinguished radiologist in Bangalore with 23 years of rich professional history with extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience. He’s currently practising as a Consultant - Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospitals Varthur Road. With a strong academic background and a commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Sreedhara has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. He is also an expert in Interventional Oncology - Cryoablation, Irreversible electroporation (IRE), Microwave and Radiofrequency ablation, Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and Transarterial radioembolization (TARE). To his credit, he is part of the IR team that did 1st Cryoablation in India and IRE in southeast Asia and has published research papers on it. He is extensively trained in hepatobiliary interventions, especially in complex procedures like TIPS, DIPS, BRTO, CARTO, PARTO, Hepatic vein stenting and IVC stenting for Budd Chiari syndrome, and has published papers and posters at various national and international conferences. In 2021, he earned the prestigious European Board of Interventional Radiology certification.   • Dr. Sreedhara B C is a distinguished radiologist in Bangalore with 23 years of rich professional history with extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience. He’s currently practising as a Consultant - Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospitals Varthur Road. With a strong academic background and a commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Sreedhara has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. He is also an expert in Interventional Oncology - Cryoablation, Irreversible electroporation (IRE), Microwave and Radiofrequency ablation, Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and Transarterial radioembolization (TARE). To his credit, he is part of the IR team that did 1st Cryoablation in India and IRE in southeast Asia and has published research papers on it.   • Dr. Sreedhara B C is a distinguished radiologist in Bangalore with 23 years of rich professional history with extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience. He’s currently practising as a Consultant - Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospitals Varthur Road. With a strong academic background and a commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Sreedhara has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. He is also an expert in Interventional Oncology - Cryoablation, Irreversible electroporation (IRE), Microwave and Radiofrequency ablation, Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and Transarterial radioembolization (TARE). To his credit, he is part of the IR team that did 1st Cryoablation in India and IRE in southeast Asia and has published research papers on it. He is extensively trained in hepatobiliary interventions, especially in complex procedures like TIPS, DIPS, BRTO, CARTO, PARTO, Hepatic vein stenting and IVC stenting for Budd Chiari syndrome, and has published papers and posters at various national and international conferences.   • Dr. Sreedhara B C is a distinguished radiologist in Bangalore with 23 years of rich professional history with extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience. He’s currently practising as a Consultant - Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospitals Varthur Road. With a strong academic background and a commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Sreedhara has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. He is also an expert in Interventional Oncology - Cryoablation, Irreversible electroporation (IRE), Microwave and Radiofrequency ablation, Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and Transarterial radioembolization (TARE). To his credit, he is part of the IR team that did 1st Cryoablation in India and IRE in southeast Asia and has published research papers on it. He is extensively trained in hepatobiliary interventions, especially in complex procedures like TIPS, DIPS, BRTO, CARTO, PARTO, Hepatic vein stenting and IVC stenting for Budd Chiari syndrome, and has published papers and posters at various national and international conferences. He is the top interventional radiologist in Bangalore.

  • Dr. Sreedhara's academic journey began with an MBBS degree from Bangalore Medical College and Research Institute in 2008. He further pursued an MD in Radiodiagnosis from the prestigious institute of national importance, PGIMER, Chandigarh, which he completed in 2012. His quest for specialisation led him to achieve a Fellowship in Interventional Radiology from the same institute in 2017. In 2021, he earned the prestigious European Board of Interventional Radiology certification. Dr. Sreedhara also served as an Assistant professor (2017-21) and Associate Professor(2021-24) in the  Department of Radiodiagnosis & Interventional Radiology at  PGIMER, Chandigarh, which has been ranked Number 2  for medical education in All India Rankings for last several years.

  • The doctor has made excellent contributions to medical science with more than 65 research publications as of date with an h-index of 10, and an i10-index of 12 signifying his contribution to research and patient care. He has authored six book chapters and delivered more than 30 invited lectures in various national and international forums. His work has earned him several awards, including best poster presentation at IRIA 2019, the N Ramadas Best Paper Research Award and the 21st Kakarla Subba Rao Gold Medal for his thesis as a main guide in 2021. He is also the recipient of a prestigious ISVIR-SIR international fellowship for the year 2024 through which he has done his observership fellowship in Interventional Radiology from the prestigious Harvard Medical School, Boston Massachusetts USA.   • Dr. Sreedhara B C is a distinguished radiologist in Bangalore with 23 years of rich professional history with extensive clinical, research, and teaching experience. He’s currently practising as a Consultant - Interventional Radiology at Manipal Hospitals Varthur Road. With a strong academic background and a commitment to medical excellence, Dr. Sreedhara has established himself as a leading expert in Interventional Radiology. He is also an expert in Interventional Oncology - Cryoablation, Irreversible electroporation (IRE), Microwave and Radiofrequency ablation, Transarterial chemoembolization (TACE), and Transarterial radioembolization (TARE).
