Paronychia nail infection is a tender fungal or bacterial nail infection of the foot or hand. It generally occurs where the skin and the nail meet at the side or on the base of a toe or fingernail. An invasive procedure is performed to treat the infection. The procedure takes around 10-15 minutes depending on the severity of the infection.
