  • Dr. Sharad S Rajamani is an experienced and renowned neurosurgeon in Whitefield, Bangalore with 20+ years of experience in the field. He completed his medical school at CMC Ludhiana by 1990 and then went on to do his super specialisation in Neurosurgery from CMC Vellore completing it in 2000. He then completed a course at the International College of Surgeons and then trained in advanced vascular neurosurgery in Japan in 2005. He then further completed his European Board Certification in 2019 and in the same year completed a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Neurosciences.

  • After completing his neurosurgery training he worked in CMC Ludhiana and later in Pondicherry Institute as a Lecturer and Associate Professor and Head of Neurosciences. He then moved to Bangalore in 2007 and was working with Columbia Asia Hospitals. He then was offered a post as Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at the Ministry of Health at the Khoula Hospital in 2013 (Tertiary Care Neurosurgical Centre). He became a Deputy Head of the Department in 2017 and later the Head of the Department and the neurosurgical care centres across the Sultanate of Oman.  He joined Manipal Hospitals Whitefield and has been a Consultant in Neurosurgery since 2022.

  • He was awarded the Best Intern Award during his medical school, and later the Best Research Paper Award in 2005 and was recognised as a contributor and coordinator for two international Conferences in Japan. Later in Oman was a secretary for the yearly conference in Neurosurgery.  He was a past editor and was an Executive Board Member of the Neurotrauma Society and later the Secretary for the Oman Neurosurgical Society. He has over 65 presentations at International and National Conferences in India and Abroad.  He has many publications to his name.

  • His field of Interest is Skull Base Surgery and Vascular Neurosurgery, but the nature of his work especially as Head of the Department in Oman gave him a vast amount of experience in brain tumours, spinal tumours and vascular disorders, degenerative and congenital diseases of the spine and with a large volume of Paediatric Neurosurgery Cases.

  • Dr. Sharad S Rajamani is an experienced and renowned neurosurgeon in Whitefield, Bangalore with 20+ years of experience in the field. He completed his medical school at CMC Ludhiana by 1990 and then went on to do his super specialisation in Neurosurgery from CMC Vellore completing it in 2000. He then completed a course at the International College of Surgeons and then trained in advanced vascular neurosurgery in Japan in 2005. He then further completed his European Board Certification in 2019 and in the same year completed a Doctorate in Philosophy (PhD) in Neurosciences.

  • After completing his neurosurgery training he worked in CMC Ludhiana and later in Pondicherry Institute as a Lecturer and Associate Professor and Head of Neurosciences. He then moved to Bangalore in 2007 and was working with Columbia Asia Hospitals. He then was offered a post as Senior Consultant in Neurosurgery at the Ministry of Health at the Khoula Hospital in 2013 (Tertiary Care Neurosurgical Centre). He became a Deputy Head of the Department in 2017 and later the Head of the Department and the neurosurgical care centres across the Sultanate of Oman.  He joined Manipal Hospitals Whitefield and has been a Consultant in Neurosurgery since 2022.

  • He was awarded the Best Intern Award during his medical school, and later the Best Research Paper Award in 2005 and was recognised as a contributor and coordinator for two international Conferences in Japan. Later in Oman was a secretary for the yearly conference in Neurosurgery.  He was a past editor and was an Executive Board Member of the Neurotrauma Society and later the Secretary for the Oman Neurosurgical Society. He has over 65 presentations at International and National Conferences in India and Abroad.  He has many publications to his name.

  • His field of Interest is Skull Base Surgery and Vascular Neurosurgery, but the nature of his work especially as Head of the Department in Oman gave him a vast amount of experience in brain tumours, spinal tumours and vascular disorders, degenerative and congenital diseases of the spine and with a large volume of Paediatric Neurosurgery Cases.
